Super Smash Bros. Brawl

The Auroros is a bird-like enemy creature encountered in The Subspace Emissary mode of Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It has a long and pointy beak, which it uses as a weapon. It dive-bombs from the air with its beak pointed straight at the ground. It causes massive damage to the players it hits, but gets stuck in the ground if it misses. Players can pluck them out of the ground and throw them at other enemies when this happens. Auroros are one of three Subspace Army enemies to appear in at least one cutscene.

Like most birds, the Auroros flies through the sky. Once one has you in its sights, it will dive in for the attack. Since it has a sharp beak, dodging its attack will leave it stuck firmly in the ground. Fortunately, you can pull it out of the ground and throw it like a javelin.
