Banana Peels are items in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Once thrown, anyone who walks over a Banana Peel trips and falls onto their back. A Banana Peel is also used in Diddy Kong's down special move of the same name. In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, after a character uses a Banana Gun, they receive a Banana Peel.
In the Mario franchise, Banana Peels are depicted with a smiling face. They primarily appear in the Mario Kart series, in which a racer can either drop them behind or throw them in front. If a racer rides in a Banana Peel, their kart spins out.
