Blue Falcon (vehicle)
The Blue Falcon is Captain Falcon's signature vehicle in the F-Zero series. Since the first Super Smash Bros. game, it has appeared as Captain Falcon's stage entry animation in all subsequent titles except Super Smash Bros. Melee (which does not have stage entry animations). Since Super Smash Bros. Brawl, the Blue Falcon has been featured in Captain Falcon's Final Smash of the same name.
History[edit]
Super Smash Bros. Melee[edit]
In Super Smash Bros. Melee, the Blue Falcon appears on Mute City and Big Blue, featured as one of the vehicles in the race (regardless of whether Captain Falcon is in the battle or not). The machine also appears behind Captain Falcon on his Classic mode trophy.
Super Smash Bros. Brawl[edit]
In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, the Blue Falcon primarily appears within Captain Falcon's Final Smash of the same name. The Blue Falcon appears within the trophy of the Final Smash, and there is a sticker pertaining to the vehicle itself that depicts its F-Zero GX artwork.
The Blue Falcon briefly appears in The Subspace Emissary. Here, Olimar and a hoard of Pikmin are trying to defeat a giant R.O.B. when a red Pikmin points out that the Blue Falcon is speeding towards them. Captain Falcon ejects out of it and delivers a Falcon Punch to the R.O.B. to disable it.
The Blue Falcon appears on the new stage Port Town Aero Dive and returns in Big Blue, which was carried over from Super Smash Bros. Melee.
Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS[edit]
In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, the Blue Falcon appears in the stage Mute City SNES, in which it is one of the vehicles that can appear as a platform; on this stage, it is given its 16-bit appearance from the original F-Zero. Unlike in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, the Blue Falcon trophy pertains to the vehicle itself, as well as the Mute City stage.
Super Smash Bros. for Wii U[edit]
In Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, the Blue Falcon also appears on the returning Port Town Aero Dive. It also has a trophy that, like in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, pertains to Captain Falcon's Final Smash.
