Excitebike, or Excitebike Racer, is the titular character from the Nintendo Entertainment System game of the same name. Its first Super Smash Bros.-related appearance is in Super Smash Bros. Melee, as a trophy.
In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Excitebikes appear as an Assist Trophy. When summoned, multiple Excitebikers drive into opponents, dealing damage to them and possibly drag them off the stage. In the same game, there is also a trophy and a sticker of an Excitebike.
Excitebike does not return as an Assist Trophy in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U, although there is a trophy of it shared between both versions. In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, there is a spirit of Excitebike.

77: NES |  Released in 1985, Excitebike was one of the original launch titles for the NES in North America. A happy return to this racing classic, Excitebike: World Rally, was released in 2009 on the Wii. Racers use a variety of techniques in courses set all over the world. You can even make your own tracks! This popular side-scrolling game was originally released in Japan in 1984, and was then remade for WiiWare in 2010. In the newer version, players go on a world tour, racing in lots of different cities, using a huge variety of techniques. You can even create your own original courses!

- Excitebike was considered to be playable in Super Smash Bros. Melee as a representative for the NES era. However, the Ice Climbers were chosen over them.[1]
