Geemers are recurring enemies in the franchise series. They are spiked, bug-like enemies that move along the terrain.

In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, Geemers appear as enemies in Smash Run. Their appearance is based on that from Super Metroid. Like in the Metroid series, Geemers move around the borders of terrain, although they can also turn around. If the player's fighter runs into them, they take damage. If they are on the underside of a platform, making contact with them causes a meteor smash effect on the player's fighter.

In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, there is a spirit of Geemer which, like most spirits, can be obtained from the Spirit Board.

Name Image Category Description
Geemer SSB3DS Trophy Geemer.png Enemy Flag of USA.png These creepy crawlers from the Metroid series cling to any surface, even the ceiling. The spikes on their backs are painful to the touch, so be careful around them. In Smash Run they'll travel on the floors or ceilings, so borrow a page from Samus's book and take them out from afar.
Flag of Europe.png If you spot one of these creatures from the Metroid series crawling along, do your best to avoid those spikes on its back. In Smash Run, they could be on the floor, or they could be on the ceiling. Either way, you'll get hurt if you touch them, so keep a safe distance and take them out with ranged attacks.
