Giant Bowser is an enhanced form of Bowser in the Super Smash Bros. series. As with all mega characters, Bowser can temporarily become giant via a Super Mushroom, making him more powerful and giving him more resistance to being knocked off the stage. Giant Bowser has made a few distinct appearances within the Super Smash Bros. games.

Game appearances[edit]

Super Smash Bros. Melee[edit]

In Adventure mode, Giant Bowser is the regular final boss fought on Final Destination. Here, he is only slightly bigger than the regular Bowser. On higher difficulty levels, after the player's fighter defeats Giant Bowser, they must battle an even larger form of Bowser, Giga Bowser. In easier difficulty levels, Giant Bowser uses his standard outfit, although in higher difficulty levels, his outfit color is black.

In the Event Match mode, Giant Bowser is playable in Lv. 25: Gargantuans, in which his goal is to defeat Giant Donkey Kong. In Lv. 42: Trouble King 2, Giant Bowser is fought by Luigi, and is bigger than his standard Giant form.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl[edit]

In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Giant Bowser is fought in the event match Three-Beast Carnage alongside Giant DK, and Giant Charizard.
