Giga Bowser is Bowser's Final Smash in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U. It involves him transforming into Giga Bowser, who originally appeared as a boss in Super Smash Bros. Melee.
As Giga Bowser, Bowser is more powerful and is invulnerable to certain attacks, but can still take damage from other fighters. Even as Giga Bowser, Bowser retains most of his moveset, which is more powerful and effective than what he can use in his regular form. Differences with Giga Bowser's moves include: the ability to use Fire Breath without his breath dying out, gaining more height when using Whirling Fortress, setting opponents on fire using his forward tilt, freezing opponents with down smash, creating an explosion with his forward smash, and electrocuting opponents with his neutral aerial. Giga Bowser cannot be grabbed by fighters. After a while, Bowser returns to normal.
In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Bowser's Final Smash was replaced with Giga Bowser Punch. While it also involves Bowser transforming into his Giga Bowser form, he can no longer be controlled around the stage, and the move involved Giga Bowser using his giant fist to punch opponents within his radar before turning back into Bowser.
