Gordos are urchin-like enemies from the Kirby franchise. They have also appeared in the Super Smash Bros. series, and are likely the inspiration for the Unibō of Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins.
In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, when King Dedede uses his side special move, Waddle Dee Toss, there is about an 8.2% chance that he throws a Gordo instead, which is stronger than a Waddle Dee and Waddle Doo. A Gordo also appears as a trophy and a sticker. In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, King Dedede's side special is replaced with Gordo Throw, which only allows him to throw Gordos.
In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, Gordos are featured as one of the enemies in Smash Run. They cannot be damaged, and if a fighter touches its spikes, they take damage. Gordos either remain in one spot or move in a fixed direction. There is also a trophy of them in this game.
In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, a Gordo appears as a spirit.
