Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS

Megonta is an enemy that appears in Kid Icarus: Uprising, resembling a giant pill bug with a purple metallic shell that almost completely protects it from harm.

In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, Megontas appear as enemies in Smash Run. Like in Kid Icarus: Uprising, it does not take damage if it is being protected by its shell and can only be damaged by hitting its exposed body parts. To attack, it rolls around and slams into the player.

Megonta SSB3DS Trophy Megonta.png Enemy Flag of USA.png You wouldn't think a wood louse would make a very scary enemy, but when it's as big as this... Eek. It attacks by curling into a ball and rolling across the stage. There's no point in hitting its shell—it's solid. Instead, knock it onto its back with a smash attack, and then pummel its stomach while it's trying to right itself.
