Pellets are items found exclusively in the Distant Planet stage of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. They originate from the Pikmin series. be knocked off of Pellet Posies, picked up, and thrown at opponents to cause some damage. There are red, blue and yellow Pellets, with various numbers on them, although these factors make no difference to the amount of damage they deal. When a Pellet is thrown into an Onion, it releases items.

By the way, keep an eye on the number on the front - it goes up little by little, and the higher it goes, the more items you'll get when you lob the pellet at an Onion!
