Unira are an item which appear in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. They are antagonists from the game Clu Clu Land, and are known as Sea Urchin in English versions. Despite this, their Japanese name, Unira, is used in every localization for every Super Smash Bros. game it appears in.
Unira can be picked up and tossed at other fighters. After being thrown, its spikes pop out and damages all except the fighter who threw it. When fighters stand close enough to it, it draws them toward itself. An Unira can decide who it is pulling if it is attacked, even the the fighter who threw the Unira. If an opponent attacks the Unira, it then causes harm to the fighter while not damaging the opponent.
