Suicune is a Water-type Legendary Pokémon originating from Pokémon Gold and Silver Versions. It is one of the legendary beasts created by Ho-Oh, along with Entei and Raikou.

In the Super Smash Bros. titles, starting with Super Smash Bros. Melee, Suicune appears as a Poké Ball Pokémon. If it is summoned, Suicune uses Blizzard, creating an icy whirlwind around itself that freezes any nearby opponents. In the games starting with Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Suicune attacks using Aurora Beam, in which it fires a horizontal laser across the screen, heavily damaging any opponents in its path. Starting with Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U, Suicune can be summoned from a Master Ball.

In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, there is a spirit of Suicune and the two other legendary beasts, Entei, and Raikou.

An Aurora Pokémon. It has the power to instantly purify even the filthiest water. Suicune is said to be the reincarnation of the northern wind, so when it shows up, so does that wind. Suicune uses the move Aurora Beam--aurora light focused into a powerful beam. Along with inflicting damage, this attack also lowers the target's attack power.

If summoned in battle, it'll make its way straight for a nearby fighter and unleash its Aurora Beam. The target, frozen in place, is unable to resist as it's blown off the stage.
