Tac is a cat burglar enemy which first appears in Kirby Super Star. It can steal an ability from Kirby or his helper. When inhaled, a Tac either returns the stolen ability or, if holding nothing, will give Kirby the Copy ability.

In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, Tacs appear as enemies in Smash Run. Like in the Kirby games, they can steal the player's stat boosts. Defeating them will make them drop the stat boots they have stolen. Its main attack will launch his hand at the player which does 1% (it cannot be reflected or absorbed, but it can be shielded and countered without losing stats). It will float away after some time. Like the other Smash Run enemies, Tac is also featured as a trophy.

In Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, Tacs are featured in Smash Tour, where they appear as a random event, carrying several stat boosts that are awarded to the fighter who runs into it. They also have a different trophy than in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, although it uses its European description. The trophy can be unlocked by collecting every CD.
