Trophy Stands are items that appear exclusively in The Subspace Emissary mode of Super Smash Bros. Brawl. They are the bottom part of a trophy.

Trophy Stands are used to transform Subspace Emissary enemies into an obtainable trophy. If an enemy's health meter is low, the player's fighter can throw the Trophy Stand at the enemy, turning it into a trophy. Some weak enemies can be captured regardless of how much damage it has taken. Trophy Stands can also be used on bosses, but only if the boss's health is low enough for the Trophy Stand to defeat the boss.

Not all enemies can be turned into trophies with Trophy Stands. Some bosses have alternate forms that cannot be earned through Trophy Stands. Instead, they are obtained by clearing certain challenges.

Trophies can be collected, then viewed in the gallery. To successfully get an enemy, you need to hit it when it's been sufficiently weakened.
